The advantage of removable labels is that they remove easily and they leave little or no adhesive residue behind. You want to use a removable label when the container (wine bottle, beer bottle, etc) will be saved, but the information on the label is no longer useful. So they are a temporary label, but that doesn’t necessarily mean short term; for things like wine bottles they may spend years before being removed.
The key benefit of our removable labels is they come off in one piece with no ripping or tearing, and leave no adhesive on the surface it was removed from. This removes the frustration of dealing with sticky residue, and completely eliminates the need for solvents or washing and scrubbing of any kind.
Some removable labels use a light adhesive that provides just enough strength to keep them fastened until they’re removed, or others use “static cling” to keep them attached to the surface. These can be unreliable and are very dependent on the surface they will be applied to. Our labels use a combination of both a clean-release adhesive and cling technology to provide a wide range of uses… it will stick to almost anything. And because of this our removable labels are also reusable and repositionable on most containers, from glass bottles and plastic carboys to beer cans and aluminum kegs.
Most of our customers use removable labels for homemade wine and beer, but there are other uses as well. Not only other beverages like mead, cider, and sodas, but many foods like honey, jams and jellies, or kombucha. They can also be useful in product manufacturing like price tags on glass picture frames, or information or protection labels that customers will remove after purchase.
Our removable label printing is great for home hobbyists and commercial beverages and merchandise.
